Artificial Intelligence (AI) is poised to trigger the next industrial revolution, fundamentally reshaping how we work, interact, and organize our daily lives. With humanity at the core of this transition, these deep structural shifts prompt vital discussions—not only regarding the role of individuals in an automated world, but also about our self-perception, quality of life, life expectancy, and health. The field of health serves as the ultimate proving ground for this search for the "new human" within a highly technological landscape.

While promising a vibrant future, AI is being integrated into deeply entrenched, historical practices and institutions, highlighting its potential to amplify both the positive and negative facets of modernity. Human health has become the catalyst for pioneering paradigms, ranging from radical longevity projects to cybernetic human enhancement. Crucially, AI is transforming traditional clinical dynamics, shifting the roles of patients and doctors, and forcing stakeholders to grapple with data-driven prognoses rather than conventional diagnoses. This course provides the conceptual frameworks necessary to navigate a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, cultivating a deep understanding of the modern individual living in a world permanently shaped by AI technologies.
