Machine Text Phenomenology is the study of perception and interpretation of texts created or processed by artificial intelligence. The aim of the research is to improve the "human models" of machine text, reduce its universality, and increase the pragmatism of human communication with artificial intelligence based on the study of the phenomenological foundations of human text and its underlying hermeneutic models.

Phenomenology is a philosophical discipline that studies the structures of consciousness and phenomena as they appear in direct experience. In the context of machine text, it is the study of how humans perceive and interpret texts created by artificial intelligence, and how these texts affect human understanding and communication. In the 21st century, humans are increasingly communicating with artificial intelligence, often preferring to address information and intellectual queries to databases or large language models (LLMs) rather than to humans. And the expectation of a response to a request is actively narrowed and turns into a search for a very specific and maximally concise answer to a specific question, rather than reasoning that could invite the interlocutor to think and talk. However, over tens of thousands of years, the human brain has evolved in the process of interpersonal communication, refining its own cognitive mechanisms.

Multi-level cognitive processes during natural human communication activate different substrates of the brain, facilitating the establishment of new neural connections, synapses and the emergence of new 'knowledge' that is actualised in human experience. Artificial intelligence does not refer to experience, but to a database of texts, different parts of which have different degrees of reproducibility and repeatability. Thus, when "communicating" with a machine text, we rely only on the experience that has already been firmly established in the human collective and has acquired the character of a communication cliché. This type of communication almost completely excludes the processes of obtaining new knowledge, which is possible only in the presence of such cognitive categories, which condition the search for and formation of new concepts and conceptual domains that significantly expand the horizons of cognition and human life.
